What household jobs do you know and have to do?

There are many household jobs and most of them are equally important . We have to do household jobs once in a while in order to live in a clean flat or house. If we didn’t do them, we wouldn’t be able to feel comfortable in our house because there would be mess everywhere. Some household jobs have to be done more often than the others. A good example of a household job we do only once in a while is window cleaning. We usually do that only before Easter, Christmas or some other significant holidays. Household jobs can be also seasonal – for example grass cutting or swimming pool maintainance.

Some household jobs have to be done very often, some of them even every day. For example washing dishes is a household job which is done every day – some people still wash their dishes in a sink but nowadays a lot of people own a dish washer, which makes washing dishes much easier. Another example of a household job done often is clothes washing, it’s usually done using a washing machine but can be, or has to be done manually sometimes.

Other household jobs are vacuum cleaning and mopping the floor, they are usually done once a week – in some families even more often, especially when they have animals. Another type of a household job is dusting, it’s usually not done regularly but it needs to be done from time to time. What is done regularly is taking out the bins, our house would smell if we didn’t do it.
